This super light premium UD carbon semi-profiled rim. Specially developed to meet the demands of the road. On the skid version: grooved basalt braking track for more endurance and braking bite even in rainy weather.
Hubs:
The Aivee Edition One hub guarantees extra nervousness in all situations. CNC machined from a bar of 7075 T6 aeronautical aluminum also produced in France. A 30-notch freewheel and titanium toothed crown, an optimized design to reduce weight, SKF® bearings and preload adjustment using a shim are the guarantee of fluidity and excellent ride quality. "Bright polished" finish. Available in four colors, all CRL models.
Spokes:
The black SAPIM CX-Ray flat spokes are made of cold-forged stainless steel with ligatures: The strongest and most flexible spoke on the market at this weight level ensures dynamism and excellent rigidity. Gives wheels that are light, responsive and extremely durable. Skate version: 20 spokes at the front with radial mounting, 24 spokes crossed in pairs and tied at the rear. Disc version: 24 spokes crossed by two and tied. Origin: France and Belgium
Spoke heads:
Sapim Polyax double square nuts in anodized and anti-friction treated 7075 T6 aluminum. The profile of Polyax spoke nipples acts as a ball joint which allows the nipple to better align in the direction of each spoke to reduce stress at the rim-spoke connection. The additional "double-square" recess allows a higher tightening torque without affecting the strength of the nut while it allows part of the thread to work in compression for greater resistance to breakage. Assembly with specific brake lubricant to ensure excellent screwing hold without the nut seizing over time. All this contributes - in addition to the quality of the assembly - to the excellent durability of our wheels.
