Rims:
Asterion rims in semi-profiled UD carbon and specific braking track (in skate version). Available for tubular, tubeless or tire with inner tube. Differentiated height: Front 40mm, Rear 50mm. Optimized width: 26mm. Excellent compromise between weight and aerodynamics. The 40mm rim at the front keeps the weight contained and reduces sensitivity to side winds. The 50mm rim keeps good aerodynamics and increases the versatility of this wheelset.
Hubs:
The Aivee SR2 (pad braking) and Classic (disc braking) aluminum hubs are light but rigid and solid (allowing high tensions) and have a very good geometry. Specific bearings with reinforced sealing and low coefficient of friction. All axis formats. All CRL models. Origin: France.
Spokes:
The flat black spokes are made of cold-forged stainless steel: The strongest and most flexible spoke on the market at this weight level ensures dynamism and excellent rigidity. Gives wheels that are light, responsive and extremely durable. 20 radial mount spokes at the front (pad version) or 24 crossed spokes (disc version), 24 spokes at the rear. Origin: France and Belgium.
Spoke heads:
Sapim Polyax double square nuts in anodized and anti-friction treated 7075 T6 aluminum. The profile of Polyax spoke nipples acts as a ball joint which allows the nipple to better align in the direction of each spoke to reduce stress at the rim-spoke connection. The additional "double-square" recess allows for higher torque without compromising the strength of the nut while allowing part of the thread to work in compression for greater breaking strength. Assembly with specific brake lubricant to ensure excellent hold of the screwing without the nut seizing over time. All this contributes - in addition to the quality of assembly - to the excellent hold over time of our wheels.
